Changing the Basic Settings from the Operator Panel (Easy Setup)

With [Easy Setup], you can change the basic settings such as the time, fax, network and e-mail functions from (SETTING).

For details on how to enter a setting value, refer to "Entering Characters".

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Easy Setup], and then press (OK).

  3. Enter the administrator password.

    The factory default password is "aaaaaa".

  4. Select [Enter], and then press (OK).

  5. Press to select the setup menu on which you want to change a setting, and then press .

  6. Press (OK) until a message is displayed to inform you that the setting is complete.

  7. Press (OK) to complete the setup.

Memo

  • [---] indicates an item that cannot be reset.

  • To access the [Admin Setup] menu, the administrator password is required.

  • To cancel the setup of [Easy Setup], press (RESET/LOG OUT).
