Setting When the Telephone Rings (Telephone Priority Mode)

Set when the external telephone and the machine ring in Tel/Fax Ready mode.

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Admin Setup], and then press (OK).

  3. Enter the administrator password.

    The factory default password is "aaaaaa".

    Entering Characters

  4. Select [Enter], and then press (OK).

  5. Press to select [Fax Setup], and then press (OK).

  6. Press to select [Fax Setting], and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select [Tel Priority Mode], and then press (OK).

  8. Press to select [ON], and then press (OK).

    Memo

    [ON]: The sender is assumed to make a voice call. The telephone rings early.

    [OFF]: The sender is assumed to send a fax. When the machine determines that the sender wants to make a voice call, the telephone rings.

  9. Press until the top screen is displayed.
