Setting Secure Reception (If You Do Not Set a Password)

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Admin Setup], and then press (OK).

  3. Enter the administrator password.

    The factory default password is "aaaaaa".

  4. Select [Enter], and then press (OK).

  5. Press to select [Fax Setup], and then press (OK).

  6. Press to select [Security Function], and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select [Secure Receive], and then press (OK).

  8. Press to select [Setting], and then press (OK).

  9. Press to select [ON], and then press (OK).

  10. Press until the top screen is displayed.

Setting Secure Reception (If You Set a Password)

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Admin Setup], and then press (OK).

  3. Enter the administrator password.

    The factory default password is "aaaaaa".

  4. Select [Enter], and then press (OK).

  5. Press to select [Fax Setup], and then press (OK).

  6. Press to select [Security Function], and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select [Secure Receive], and then press (OK).

  8. Press to select [Setting], and then press (OK).

  9. Press to select [ON], and then press (OK).

  10. Press to select [Password], and then press (OK).

  11. Enter a 4-digit password by using the 10-key pad, and then press (OK).

  12. Press until the top screen is displayed.

Printing an Image Stored with Secure Reception

Print an image that is received by fax and stored in memory.

Check that the [DATA IN MEMORY] lamp lights up.

If the lamp is off, there are no images that are received by fax and stored in memory.

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Store Document Settings], and then press (OK).

  3. Press to select [Print], and then press (OK).

  4. Press to select [Received Documents], and then press (OK).

  5. Check that [Execute] is selected, and then press (OK).

  6. Select [Yes].

    Printing the received document starts.

    Memo

    • When printing is complete, the [DATA IN MEMORY] lamp turns off.

    • If you select [No], the image that is received by fax is not deleted, and you return to step 5.
