For the Network Connection

Connect this machine to a network, and then set the fax settings.

Note

Check the status of this machine before working.

  • This machine is turned on.

  • This machine is connected to a network with a network cable.

  • The IP address or other settings are set.

  1. Insert the "Software DVD-ROM" into a computer.

  2. When [AutoPlay] is displayed, click [Run Setup.exe].

    Memo

    If the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, click [Yes].

  3. Select a language from the drop-down list.

  4. Read the license agreement, and then click [Agree].

  5. Click [Next].

  6. Select the model name of this machine, and then click [Next].

  7. Select [Network (Wired/Wireless)], and then click [Next].

  8. Click [Fax Settings].

  9. Select the model name of this machine, and then click [Next].

  10. Click [Fax].

  11. Set the fax information if necessary, and then click [Setup].

    The fax information is set to this machine.
