Notifying the Sender of the Processing Status of the Received Data

To send an MDN/DSN request when sending an Internet Fax or e-mail, follow the procedure below.

To receive an MDN/DSN response, you must enable the MDN/DSN settings and set the e-mail reception setting in advance.

  1. Press (SETTING).

  2. Press to select [Admin Setup], and then press (OK).

  3. Enter the administrator password.

  4. Select [Enter], and then press (OK).

  5. Press to select [Scanner Setup], and then press (OK).

  6. Press to select [E-mail Setup], and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select [MDN Response], and then press (OK) .

  8. Press to select [ON], and then press (OK).

  9. Press until the top screen is displayed.
