Network Connection

  1. Press (SCAN).

  2. Set a document in the ADF or on the document glass.

  3. Press to select [Remote Scan], and then press (OK).

  4. Check that [TWAIN] is selected, and then press (OK).

  5. Check that [Select A Connecting PC] is selected, and then press (OK).

  6. Check that [From Network] is selected, and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select a computer to connect, and then press (OK).

  8. Press or .

    Scanning starts.

  9. Start ActKey on the computer.

  10. If the scanner selection screen is displayed, select [OKI MB ****] or [OKI Universal Twain ******], and then click [OK].

  11. Click a scan button on the launcher.

    Scanning starts.

Memo

  • If you select [Application-1] or [Application-2], an application that is associated with a file format starts, and the scanned image is displayed in the application.

  • If you select [Folder], the scanned document is saved in the specified folder.

  • If you select [PC-Fax], the fax transmission application starts, and the scanned document is sent to the application. Send a fax with the fax transmission software on your computer.

The following procedure uses Image Capture as an example.

  1. Press (SCAN).

  2. Set a document in the ADF or on the document glass.

  3. Press to select [Remote Scan], and then press (OK).

  4. Check that [TWAIN] is selected, and then press (OK).

  5. Check that [Select A Connecting PC] is selected, and then press (OK).

  6. Check that [From Network] is selected, and then press (OK).

  7. Press to select a computer to connect, and then press (OK).

  8. Press or .

    Scanning starts.

  9. Start Image Capture on the computer.

  10. Select this machine from the list on the left side of Image Capture.

  11. Click [Scan].

    Scanning starts.
