Changing from the Web Page
You can change the administrator password of this machine from the Web page. The administrator password specified on the Web page is used when logging from the Web page or operator panel.

Log in as the administrator.

Select [Admin Setup].

Select [Management] > [Admin Password].

Enter a new password in [New Admin Password].
Memo

You can enter 6 to 12 alphanumeric characters for the password.

The password is case sensitive.

Re-enter the new password in [New Admin Password (Verify)].
The password is not displayed. Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.

Click [Submit].
The new settings take effect when the network function of this machine restarts.
Memo
You do not need to restart the machine. The next time you log in as the administrator, you can use the new password.
Changing from Configuration Tool

Click [Start], and select [All Programs] > [Okidata] > [Configuration Tool] > [Configuration Tool].

Select the machine from [Registered Device Table].

Click the [Device Setting] tab.

Click [Change password].

Enter the current password in [Current password].

Enter a new password in [New password].
-
Re-enter the new password in [Reenter New password].

Click [OK].
Memo
Enter the new password in two places: [New password] and [Reenter New password] for confirmation. If they do not match, a warning screen is displayed. Enter the new password again.
