You can check the status of this machine by using 
(STATUS).
Checking the Problem Status
If any problem occurs in this machine, (STATUS) lights up or flashes. Press (STATUS), and check the problem status.

Check that [System Status] is selected, and then press
(OK). -
Press
to select the item to check, and then press (OK).
Checking the Device Situation and Job Status
You can check the residual life of consumables, the counter information, and the job list from (STATUS).
