Sending an Internet Fax

  1. Press (FAX).

  2. Set a document in the ADF or on the document glass.

  3. Press to select [Internet Fax], and then press (OK).

  4. Check that [Add Destination] is selected, and then press (OK).

  5. Check that [To] is selected, and then press (OK).

    To select [Cc] or [Bcc], press , and then press (OK).

  6. Enter a destination e-mail address.

    Specify a destination in one of the following ways.

    Using Direct Entry

    Selecting from the Address Book or Group List

    Using a One-touch Key

    Selecting from the Transmission History

    Specify a Destination by Searching the LDAP Server

  7. Press to return to the start screen.

  8. Set scan settings if necessary.

    Memo

    If you press (START) without changing anything, the following (factory default) settings are applied for scanning and sending a document.

    • [Scan Size]: A4

    • [Resolution]: Normal

    • [Density]: 0

  9. Press (START).

    Transmission starts.
